Hello Again,
I grew up deep in the woods of Southwest Louisiana. I have always found peace in nature; the animals are my friends and the plants are my brothers. I started writing from a young age. I was 8 years old when I wrote my first song (yes, I am also a country music singer-songwriter.) and I always EXCELLED at two subjects in school: Science and English. I went on to obtain a B. S. in Wildlife Management...Natural Resource Conservation Management with a Wildlife concentration to be exact. I was fortunate enough that while I was studying, a great professor of mine took me under his wing and allowed me to write a short paper with him. This is how I became a published wildlife biologist as an undergrad. Thanks Doc! Putting all of my disciplines together has lead me to follow this deep intuition of wildlife writing.
I am also a wife and mother to Caius and Catherine, and one angel babe in Heaven. I love good dogs, good guitars, and smooth whiskey. Adventure is at the core of my soul and I will forever be a gypsy. It's in my bones...
