A few years ago an esteemed wildlife journalist and photographer read an article that I wrote, published in Texas Salt Magazine. He reached out to me and asked me to keep writing. He was impressed and even advised me on a subsequent topic.

 It took me a few years, but here it is, Joe. 

This site is a nest full of my adventures as a wildlife biologist, photographs I have taken, and wisdom I have acquired along my way. I invite you to take a good look around and make yourself at home among the wild.
